Consistently voted ‘Atlanta’s Best’ antique store since 1979, Kudzu has grown over 44 years into one of Atlanta’s most beloved stores. Today, Kudzu Antiques + Modern in Decatur operates out of a 26,000 sq. ft. location, featuring a unique mix of antiques, vintage and new furnishings. It’s 15,000 sq. ft. sister store, Kudzu and Company, in Sandy Springs, Ga, features a more upscale designer-driven showroom of contemporary furnishings complemented by select antiques. Both stores feature mixes unique to the marketplace.
Atlanta’s oldest family owned antique and furniture business, Kudzu Antiques + Modern is carried on today by second generation owner Kate Lawes and her husband George. Both have wide experience in the industry and have built an international network over many years sourcing goods from around the world. Kudzu has a recognized tradition of friendly, professional service, terrific selection, and great prices. Shoppers love Kudzu’s huge, well lit, air-conditioned facility, with its comfortable layout, outdoor areas, and easy parking.
