Our colorfully splashy kantha throws are hand-embroidered by women in Nepal or India and are typically fashioned from repurposed vintage saris or shawls. The artform is passed down from generation to generation and seen as a trade to economically uplift communities. Since various cloths are used and the quilts handmade, no two kanthas are the same, even down to the hand-stitching. However, any one would make a lively, bold, homey addition to brighten any corner, decorate any table or ottoman, or warm any toesies lounging on the couch. Because this is a handmade item from upcycled resources, colors, patterns, and sizes vary (a very rough average would be 50×80 inches). Stop by to see these beauties in person! PS–also reversible! Sold individually and range in size and priced from $65 – $115.
